Linda Andrén heads up the Sweden-U.S. Green Transition Initiative

Please join us in welcoming Linda Andrén who is stepping into the role of Director for the Sweden-U.S. Green Transition Initiative.

“I’m very pleased that Linda has joined the team. She brings diverse experience of engaging industry and the research community in co-innovation projects, most recently from Gunnebo. She was also the lead entrepreneur and CEO of an incubator. Her background and drive will greatly contribute to the success of GTI,” says Jan Larsson, CEO, Business Sweden.

“This is an exciting time to be leading the Green Transition Initiative and leveraging the work of the Swedish Energy Agency, Vinnova , Business Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden. Our mission is to ramp up collaboration between Sweden and the US to facilitate game-changing climate action,” says Andrén who will be based in Washington.

“We are seeing strong mutual interest among companies and key stakeholders in R&D and innovation to expand cooperation in areas such as electromobility, renewable energy, sustainable manufacturing and green buildings,” she concludes.

The GTI initiative was launched in March 2022 to accelerate Swedish-American collaboration in the transition toward a low-carbon economy.
